Happy Birthday to us!

Teachit Geography is one year old

Last May we launched with around 140 resources. Now, thanks to our great team of teacher contributors, we have more than 260!  All have been written for real students, tried out, tweaked and then submitted to us to share with others.

Why not take a look at our Contribute page for full information about how to join the team, along with the perks of becoming a published contributor? More resources are added every week, so do keep coming back to the site in the weeks, months and years to come.

To celebrate the birthday, there are treats all round! We've gathered together some of our old favourites and our latest loves for you as well as a totally new site design.

Limestone mix and match, a card sort

A card sorting favourite together with an interactive version for the IWB which is excellent for revision. Students match key words to their definitions and images.

This fully adaptable Word document and interactive version are usually for subscribers only, but free for all to try this month.

Limestone and karst (KS4)

Pollution in China, a necessary evil?

Many of our news-based lessons don't age and are still just as relevant today as when they were published. They all come with the text they're based on, from The Week magazine.

Again, usually for subscribers only, but free for all to try this month.

Pollution (KS3)

A dictionary of population

One of our most popular resources – a PowerPoint  based on key words and phrases. It's an excellent method for reinforcing learning of this important KS4 examination topic.

This PowerPoint is usually for subscribers only, but as a final birthday present we've made this free for all this month.
