Water supply and transfer in the UK

This resource helps students understand some of the reasons why water transfers are needed in the UK. Students use maps to analyse the precipitation and population patterns within the UK and therefore patterns of water supply and demand. A card sort task is included to identify characteristics of different regions of the UK and areas of water surplus and deficit.
