This resource looks at patterns in calories consumed globally. Students compare the food intake in HICs and that in LICs using their map skills to create a map to represent this. Students also look at how these global food patterns compare to the Brandt line; is this still a useful indicator? As a discussion plenary, students consider the possible future trends; will they change?
