This resource makes use of a BBC class clip on the Arabian Desert. Students watch the video clip on how animals and people adapt to life in hot deserts. They should make notes on the location, key features and characteristics of hot deserts. Then consider the ways animals, plants and people have adapted to and use this biome. Students should then carry out some independent research into another plant or animal and explain the adaptations which help it survive in hot deserts.
Glad you found this easy to use. There are more resources like this using the BBC video clips. Why not try some others?
