Birth and death rates in South America
This is a numerical skills resource looking at patterns of natural increase in South America. Firstly, students use birth rate and death rate data from 2011 to calculate the percentage natural increase. It also practises graphical skills as they then rank this data and create a choropleth map of South America. The resource includes answers and suggestions for possible extension activities.
