Population and cities
This resource looks at the population distribution of the UK. Students consider the different characteristics of urban and rural environments and categorise these into good and bad factors about living in these locations. Students then use an information sheet about where the largest UK cities are located and why to help complete mapping and data analysis tasks. There is a GCSE style exam question included to finish the lesson.

A very useful resource. Initially, I plan to use it in an IMYP Geography unit on Balance.
