Imperial valley: a large scale agricultural development
This resources focuses on how a large scale agricultural developments can increase food supply. In this resource the Imperial Valley in California is used as an example. Students consider the climate of the area and take notes from a video source on the development. They then have to complete a card sort activity to categorise information into the advantages and disadvantages of the scheme.
