Huggg

An alternative to free school meals

Huggg has reacted to the impact of coronavirus by adapting its technology to help schools and trusts. While schools are closed, headteachers and staff are now able to purchase and send Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's supermarket vouchers to families eligible for essential free school meals. A platform usually reserved for companies rewarding customers and employees, Huggg is providing an immediate solution to schools and trusts for when the central government solution does not work for them. Huggg has waived all platform fees and schools will simply pay for the vouchers that get used, claiming the money back from the DfE.
