The carbon cycle

This resource is designed to help students understand the carbon cycle. Students work as a group to create a labelled diagram to show how the carbon cycle operates. They follow the step-by-step instructions to complete their diagram. Firstly, they sort statements into stores and flows and then they should use these statements as labels to create their diagram.

There are teaching notes which provide guidance and suggest weblinks to further information and video clips of the carbon cycle in operation. Answers to the card sort are also included.
