Should fracking be allowed?
This is a topical debate resource on the issue of fracking. Using a short video clip students look at what fracking is and why it might be controversial. They then focus on a specific area of the UK, Kirby Misperton, and consider why it might suitable location for fracking. Students then complete a card sort activity on the views for and against fracking. There is a living photograph activity and role cards to support a class debate. Full teaching notes are included to support this lesson, including possible follow up activities.
