Impacts of natural hazards

A resource asking students to use their own judgment to assess different natural hazards. Students consider what natural hazards are and then analyse photographs and video clips to determine which hazards they think have the worst impact on people and the environment.

The activities included within this resource are a diamond nine activity for the effects of hazards, followed by a literacy task where they complete a pyramid writing frame to describe and explain the impacts of a hazard of their choice.
