Do you understand plate boundaries?

A series of simple activities to test understanding of the three major types of plate boundary. These worksheets can be used as starters or as a plenary to monitor progress. Two simple GCSE questions are also included to aid familiarity with examination assessment.

There are not mark schemes specifically for these two questions. You can use the AQA mark schemes as guidance, 1-2 marks would be a basic response with limited reference to the specifics within the question and 3-4 marks would be a detailed response including specific information and examples to support the answer. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments Sarah. The present AQA Syllabus does use the terms constructive and destructive. The beauty of Teachit is that all resources can easily be adapted to fit different board requirements.

The resource is good but most exam boards are using the terminology of convergent and divergent plate boundaries now. It would be better if the resource reflected this.
