Using or abusing the tropical rainforest

A useful set of images showing five activities taking place in the tropical rainforest which impact on the rates of deforestation. Students are asked to identify what the activities are and then rank the damage caused by them.

This activity makes an ideal starter and is suitable for pair or small group work. It is hoped that it will generate considerable discussion as students share their differing opinions.
