Investigating an urban place – Ask away

Making use of an image from English Heritage's 'Britain from Above', this resource encourages students to think about place recognition (Blackpool, in northwest England) via careful observation of key physical and human features and questioning techniques. A great starter, leading to the opportunity for independent enquiry later on.
